What a beer selection! And food! Holy cow, this place is great. Walk to to the giant beer cooler, take what you want, and get a glass from the bartender. If you love craft beer, this is a must visit in Sapporo.

Seriously delicious beers. There is an enormous variety to choose from. Atmosphere is very cool with cans and bottles lining the walls floor to ceiling. Food is good but possibly a long wait depending on when you visit.

Phred is a staple of the beer scene in Japan. I love him. This place is a must visit on a night out in Susukino.

Excellent beer and hospitality with a unique atmosphere. It may be better for the clerk to have a byte-like cousin.I think there are many European beers, but the craft is mainly Hokkaido. You can enjoy it in a casual atmosphere.

Got myself started with the Belgian strong ale from the top of the menu. That was enough for 5 stars! Add that with an English speaking and friendly owner and great ambience. What more do you want to ask for? I would definitely come back to this place anytime I need a beer and would highly recommend it to anyone craving for a craft beer.

What a fantastic selection of beers!

Interesting place. Lots of beer bottles from all over the world on the wall. Has a handful of brews on tap and a wall of fridges full of various other brews. Seemed to be a lot of choice from Europe and USA but lacking a little in Hokkaido's own local brews. Probably just the day though. There was also a 900yen charm charge, however they never made us pay it.

Nice beer and cosy atmosphere. So why the 1 star? 900 yen EACH for food we didn't order and call it 'charm charge'. Bloody cheek! I know in Japan they sometimes have a table change but this is a pub and to get charged 1800 yen before we've even had a drink is extortionate!

Pick out one of the hard to find (especially in Japan) beers from the fridge or grab something on tap, you're sure to find something delicious.

Abundant American beer. If you ask the store clerk to drink this beer, they will look for you. We also sell alcoholic beverages, so there are some beers that can't be served in the showcase.

a unique place with a lot of heart. you could tour the 40-year library of cans for hours. honestly the beer itself was mediocre and I wish he would focus more on Japanese brews. nevertheless worth your time during your time in Sapporo

One of the oldest craft beer bars in Japan. Has the feel of a classic American college bar, foosball and darts are available as well as 40s of malt liquor. Also a great selection of bottled imported beer and tap beers.

One of the finest beer selections I've stumbled upon, all in a tiny basement.

Really great craft beer bar that was right across the street from where we were staying. You have to go down a flight of stairs to go inside. The walls are lined with beer cans and the cooler is stocked with beer from all over the US. The guy working knew some English, and was very nice. Totally worth a stop.

Quiet place with a nice atmosphere, boasting what they claim to be the largest selection of beer in Asia. Founded by the legend that basically brought import beer to Japan in the 80s, I would recommend this to anyone looking for some good crafts in Sapporo. Of course, not the cheapest place to drink, but worth it for the stuff you can’t find elsewhere.

Best place for the craft beer at some of the best prices I have seen in Japan. Food is awesome (get the burgers and wings) and the owner is awesome. Second time here this week. If you like beer and good food make sure to stop here even if you are here a day!

It should be said that it was delicious ...The first time I tasted it.

I swore i was in some sort of beer library/museum. Not only do they have lots of unique beers available, both on tap and bottle...but viewing the collection of beer cans and bottles itself, can keep a person occupied for quite a while. Feels like a no-frills, dive bar with great taste in beer.
